A Stupid Criminal Goes to Court

Carlos Davila, 34, was at the Maywood, Ill., courthouse for a hearing on a retail theft charge. While there, he allegedly used a payphone to call in a bomb threat — to the building he was in. Sheriff’s deputies were able to use security cameras to identify and apprehend Davila. A search found no bombs. Davila was charged with felony disorderly conduct, and held without bail. (MS/Chicago Tribune) ...The bigger question is, how long did it take to find a working payphone?
