At 10, Stand in the Corner; at 20, Stand in the Dock
Sarah Brady, in court to defend Daniel O’Donnell, 20, on a charge of being drunk and disorderly in public in Worcester, England, admitted her client was wearing a traffic cone on his head in the street. “He thought it was funny at the time,” she said, and continued even after police tried to get him to leave. “He accepts he did carry on with the cone on his head.” The judge accepted his guilty plea and ordered O’Donnell to pay 155 pounds (US$200) in fines and costs. While O’Donnell “doesn’t think he has a problem with alcohol,” Brady told the court, he “intends to stop doing stupid things under the influence of alcohol.” (RC/Worcester News) ...Eh: he’s probably used to wearing a dunce cap by now.Original Publication Date: 02 October 2016
