Being a Goodie Two-Shoes Rots Your Mind

Rachel Anne Hachero, 17, seemed like the ideal student. She was a member of her Ft. Myers, Fla., school’s Model United Nations team, held many honor awards, and competed in several marathons to benefit charity. Several ivy league schools have offered her scholarships. But, her mother says, Rachel called her mother asking her to co-sign for a car. When mom refused, Rachel allegedly threatened to kill her. Rachel then came home, police say, and pistol-whipped her mother, forced her to the car dealership, and made her sign for the car — and Rachel drove off in her new wheels. Still, her mother refused to prosecute because of Rachel’s outstanding performance in school. Police arrested her anyway, charging her with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, unlawful possession of a gun by an underaged person, and battery. (JW/WPTV West Palm Beach) ...The ivy league scholarships might vanish, but the car dealership has offered her a position as sales manager.
