John R. Morales, 41, has been sentenced to 16 years in prison in Texas after pleading guilty to drug charges. He was found to be in possession of 1,000 marijuana plants and 27 weapons, including a grenade launcher, and was caught after being pulled over for speeding. Drug trafficking was Morales’ second career. His first was as an actor, and he’s best known for portraying “McGruff the Crime Dog” — famous for urging citizens to “Take a bite out of crime.” (RC/KIKK Houston) ...“Just not mine.”Original Publication Date: 02 March 2014
