Bonds of Matrimony

Not everything is going bad for Franklin Barndt, who is being held in the Northampton County (Pa.) jail on charges of possession with intent to deliver crack cocaine. His fiancée, Takesha Piazza, appeared in court and the judge in his case married them. Barndt wore his jail jumpsuit and handcuffs. Piazza wore a suit. The couple didn’t want to wait until his legal problems are over because “Love is immediate and demanding,” said Barndt’s defense attorney. “It turned out to be the best day of my life,” Piazza said after the wedding. “I can’t wait for him to come home.” On the other hand, Piazza hasn’t posted Barndt’s bail.
