Botox Bandit

Police in Christchurch, New Zealand, are searching for a woman who allegedly stole a NZ$780 (US$640) Botox treatment. According to Papanui Senior Constable Helen Mahon-Stroud, the woman provided doctors with a false name, address, and phone number, then let them photograph her face for a “before” picture. “Afterwards she went out to the desk and told staff her wallet was in the car,” Mahon-Stroud said. “She went out the door and was last seen running off down the road.” Police checked the address the woman provided, but she didn’t live there, so they are only left with the photographs she let them take. “It beggars belief that someone could do a runner after getting a photo like that,” Mahon-Stroud said. “We have about six photographs of her.” (MS/Christchurch Press) ...Don’t worry: she’ll look exactly like that again in 4-6 months.
