Case in Point

When Jeffrey John Pollock, 49, allegedly refused to leave his ex-fiancee’s Marathon, Fla., house, she called the cops. As police were arresting him on trespassing charges, he asked them to get his briefcase — because it had a lot of cash in it. He initially refused to give the briefcase combination to deputies, but once at the jailhouse he opened the case. Inside, police say they found $9,480 in cash — plus marijuana. Pollock was charged with possession of marijuana and introduction of marijuana into a detention facility. The cash was seized for possible forfeiture. (MS/South Florida Sun-Sentinel) ...Well, at least his ex doesn’t have it.
