Catch Me If You — Damn!

Victor Burgos, 29, of New York, N.Y., was wanted by the NYPD on multiple warrants for domestic violence and harassment of his ex-girlfriend. When Burgos discovered that the department had featured him on its “Ten Most Wanted” page of its web site, he posted a message to the cops on his Facebook page: “Catch me if you can, I’m in Brooklyn.” He was quickly tracked by his computer’s I.P. address; when a squad of U.S. Marshals and NYPD detectives kicked in the door of an apartment, they found Burgos sitting at his computer. He was taken into custody. (RC/New York Daily News) ...Darn it: the squad was carrying guns instead of cameras.
