Celebrate the Centennial

A department store loss prevention officer in Port St. Lucie, Fla., spotted Joseph Wilson, 50, allegedly hiding $174 in men’s socks and underwear under his clothing. The officer followed Wilson out of the store and confronted him next to a van in the parking lot. Wilson jumped into the van and told the driver to “take off!” The driver refused, so Wilson ran. He was eventually caught hiding behind a trash bin and arrested for theft. It’s a milestone for Wilson: he has 37 prior felony arrests, 47 misdemeanor arrests, and 15 “unknown” arrests prior to the shoplifting incident — making this arrest his 100th. (MS/Port St. Lucie News) ...To celebrate, how about life in prison as a habitual offender?
