Clean Getaway

A woman in Houston, Texas, was in the shower at home when she heard a banging noise. She looked out and “I seen a guy punching with a glove and another guy was kicking at the same time” — trying to break into her home. She was in such a hurry to get to safety that she ran out of the house without even pausing to grab a towel, let alone clothes. But she did grab her keys and her cell phone, and jumped into her car and took off. “Right after I got my first goal done I had a second goal,” she said, “and the second goal was to catch them.” She came back around the block and saw that she apparently had escaped unnoticed by the intruders. By then she had called 911. “I had a full description of the car before I left,” said the unnamed woman, who is in her 20s. (RC/KHOU Houston) ...And that, my dear, is why I take my cell phone with me to the shower.
