Cruiser Needs an Extra Mirror

A police officer in Friendswood, Texas, pulled over Andrew Charles Davis, 17, for a traffic violation. When the officer got to the car, he thought he smelled marijuana, and got Davis’s permission to search his vehicle. The search turned up no contraband, so the officer let Davis off with a verbal warning. Davis took off, and the policeman returned to his car to leave. As he did, he noticed a bag of alleged marijuana under his car. He reviewed his “dashcam” video, which showed that while his vehicle was being searched, Davis was sitting on his truck, reached into his pants to pull out the baggie, then kicked it under his truck. He then could be seen kicking the bag from under the pickup to under the patrol car. Davis has now been charged with possession of marijuana. (JW/KPRC Houston) ...Davis will probably claim he was just trying to kick the habit.
