Desperately Needs a Dog

It’s not unusual in Anchorage, Alaska, to see a wild moose meandering around town. But it is unusual for residents to reach out to pet the huge beasts. A 20-something-year-old woman in Town Square Park did just that, police say. In response the animal kicked the unnamed woman several times, including in the chest, police report, but paramedics said she didn’t need hospital treatment. “At this time, we are telling people not to agitate the moose,” a police spokeswoman said, confirming that officers did not shoot the moose, nor even try to get it removed from town. “It was just doing what moose do.” (RC/Anchorage Daily News) ...And she was just doing what obliviots do.
