Did He See Stars?

If a certain Oklahoma City driver looked into the car into which he had crashed, he might have seen two college girls and their grandmother and “thought it was just a bunch of ladies,” as the grandmother put it. “We were all checking on Nana to make sure she’s OK,” said Brittany Delgado, 21, after the crash. “And as soon as we got her situated, Nana’s like, ‘Hey, he’s running away, he’s running away!’” Delgado and her sister, Breiana, 19, chased the hit-and-run driver. The younger sister took the man down, and the two held him for the police. “My sister and I are very proficient wrestlers and also played football in high school,” said Brittany, “so we know about tackling.” Archie Randall, who coaches wrestling for the Oklahoma City University Stars, said the Delgados had had male opponents in high school.
