Do Your Parents Know You’re Out of the Basement?

Police in Portland, Ore., were dispatched to check out a man running in traffic at 7:00 a.m. The man would be easy to spot: he was dressed in chainmail and a helmet, and carrying a sword, a staff, and a shield, and had “attacked” a car. When officers arrived they were told Konrad Bass, 30, had walked up the hood of a BMW and repeatedly stabbed the car with his sword, causing $4,000 in damage. Bass explained to officers that he was a “high-elf engaged in battle with the evil Morgoth” — and was also tripping on LSD. (RC/KATU Portland) ...Ah, so he really was a “high” elf.
