Don’t Cross Me

Daniel Whitaker, 49, admits that he drove up the steps of the Indiana War Memorial. He was wrapped in an American flag, and had a gun. He poured gasoline down the steps, and then lit it on fire, and then had a “tense standoff” with police. And yes, he mooned the officers before throwing his gun down the steps and surrendering; he was of course quickly arrested, and charged with arson and criminal recklessness. But, he said in a phone call to an Indianapolis TV station, there was a reason for all of that. “What I was trying to do with whatever I had was to try to get everybody to stop and think of Christ and His ways and to be nice to each other and love each other,” he said. (RC/WRTV Indianapolis) ...Which is always best done at gunpoint.
