Duty Belt

Jerald T. Navarre, 34, of Iowa City, Iowa, was arrested after police responded to multiple complaints about him harassing people. Officers found him shouting at people and smelling of alcohol, they said, and charged him with public intoxication. While Navarre admitted to being “a little drunk,” he refused breath tests and told officers he was “needed” on the pedestrian mall to “protect women.” Navarre is known to police as a self-professed protector of women who goes by the nickname “Captain Save a Ho”. Navarre was released from custody after booking. (MS/Iowa City Press-Citizen) ...I think we now know what it is local women need to be protected from.
