Everybody Wants to Be a Critic

“The dispute started over some questionable guitar playing,” said Madison, Wisc., police spokesman Joel DeSpain. A 54-year-old homeless man “went over to ‘Bongo Jesus’ and provided some sort of critique” on his playing. That escalated to a fist fight. “When police were called, we were advised that the musician was hitting the victim over the head with the guitar.” By the time officers arrived, others were involved in the fight, and Bongo allegedly fought off an officer and had to be subdued with a Taser. Mr. Jesus — er, Brandin Hochstrasser, 31 — was charged with battery, battery on a police officer, resisting arrest, and disorderly conduct. (RC/Madison Capital Times) ...A guitar player, and he goes by “Bongo”? He must really be bad.
