Facebook Him

A server at a Reno, Nev., bar took a picture of a man with a $100 tab before he left --- without paying. The pub posted it to Facebook, and it went viral. Saul Zelaznog, 36, told a newspaper the Brewer’s Cabinet was “acting like I ran out of there,” and insisted “I was going to be back to take care of my tab.” But other establishments said he’d bailed on them too, and authorities concluded that he’d gone into the bars in the first place with no cash and no intention to pay. So they charged Zelaznog with five counts of burglary — on top of the probation violation on which he’d already been arrested. His prior record includes passing bad checks, and conspiring to commit theft. He was held on $100,000 bail. (AC/Reno Gazette-Journal) ...But it may still be easier for him to bail out of jail than to bail on a bar tab again.
