Flunk

Elsie C. Pawlow, a senior citizen who says her age is “49 and still holding,” popped a stick of Stride gum into her mouth and, she says, it stuck to her dentures. The Edmonton, Alta., Canada, woman has therefore sued Kraft Canada Inc., the parent of Cadbury Adams, because she was “depressed” by the incident. Having to pop off her dentures to pull off bits of gum was “disgusting,” she says. “As a result, the plaintiff has suffered depression for approximately 10 minutes,” her court filing says. For this horrible outrage, she demands compensation in the amount of C$100,000 (US$98,550), plus interest and court costs. (RC/Edmonton Sun) ...How much depression could you go through at the pay rate of $165 per second?
