He Hadn’t Had Alcohol

Eric Williams, 48, wasn’t drunk: he blew into the ignition interlock on his car, and it allowed him to drive away. But it did delay him: blowing into it was a struggle because he was out of breath from running, police say. Thibodeaux, La., police say store workers watched and took pictures of the man who, they said, had fled with stolen seafood — peeled crawfish tails. When cops went to Williams’s home, he protested that he only got off work at 4:30. Police say they arrested him anyway “after telling him it was not yet 4:30.” (AC/WWL New Orleans) ...Was it 4:20?
