How Could He Get So Low?

Kevin Gausepohl, 37, a music instructor at Tacoma (Wash.) Community College, allegedly told one of his students he was doing a “study” of what “muscles are involved in the female anatomy to properly breathe and support the entire body,” and how “sexual arousal affects vocal ranges.” He allegedly claimed that by stripping and or “touching herself” during singing lessons, she could reach lower notes. The student says she complied with his suggestions. Worse, the student was only 17 at the time, which has led to criminal charges: seven counts of “communicating with a minor for immoral purposes,” plus one count of obstructing a law enforcement officer. Gausepohl has resigned from the school, although he denies the allegations, saying that while that is his theory, he has not yet reached the “human participant level” of his study. (RC/Tacoma News Tribune) ...Seems he’s fallen short on several human levels.
