Huff, Huff, Boom

A man walked into a police station in North Hollywood, Calif., and told officers that he had been trying to get high in his truck by “huffing” propane. While doing that, he also decided to plug his cell phone charger into the truck’s auxiliary outlet, creating a spark that ignited the propane. The resulting explosion blew open the truck’s roof and shattered all the windows. The man said he had wandered away from the truck before anyone had arrived and “passed out on a lawn somewhere.” He was burned on his scalp and face. “This guy is the luckiest guy in the world,” said police Sgt. Glenn McNeil. “You can’t make this stuff up.” (MS/Los Angeles Times) ...And some stories you just know they wouldn’t make up.
