Michelle Egglestone complains that the veranda of her ex-fiance’s house in Smythes Creek, Vic., Australia, made an inadequate women’s room: it lacked adequate railings. Nevertheless, she decided to pee over the edge. The 35-year-old woman fell off, landed on a picket fence — which she complains lacked adequate capping that could protect people who landed on it — and suffered “penetrative injuries” to a full range of body parts that, considering her choice of facilities, may no longer have been as private as the familiar euphemism suggests.
