Ice Cream Is Bad for You

Lisa Moorer, 52, was driving her ice cream truck in James Island, S.C., when she heard shouting. Thinking it was kids trying to get her business, she stopped, and then saw that it wasn’t the kids shouting, it was a man with a gun. “He came flying out of nowhere from his backyard screaming,” Moorer said. “He was very upset.” Richard Hill, 59, allegedly ran out with the gun after he believed the truck had violated the neighborhood’s posted “No Soliciting” sign. “Get the [expletive] out of here,” Hill allegedly yelled. “There is no [expletive] soliciting in this neighborhood!” Hill was arrested and charged with pointing and presenting a firearm. Moorer isn’t sure what really motivated Hill to act the way he did. “You don’t know why people do what they do,” she said. “Who knows, maybe his mother didn’t buy him ice cream when he was a kid.” (MS/Charleston Post and Courier) ...He took the “I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream” bit a little too literally.
