If You Can’t Beat ’Em, Join ’Em

When Marcos Antonio Ramirez, 20, was arrested in Orem, Utah, for allegedly dealing in marijuana, police say he admitted he was dealing to save money for a special purpose: he wanted to attend the police academy. “Most drug dealers wouldn’t say they were trying to save up to become a cop,” said Orem Sgt. Craig Martinez. “It’s probably not the first time this has happened, but this is the first time I’ve heard of someone admitting it.” (RC/Salt Lake City Tribune, Deseret News) ...Since most wanna-be cops have learned the “You have the right to remain silent” bit.
