Victor Jimenez said his son didn’t finish his homework, so a second-grade teacher wrote a “B” in marker on his son’s forehead. Jimenez said the Thurgood Marshall Elementary School in Houston, Texas, told him other students have had similar problems. “They have also been marked on their arms,” he said. “He has a list of the kids involved.” In a statement, the district said an investigation had been launched. “The situation is being handled as a personnel matter,” the district announced, “and the teacher has been directed to cease the practice.” (AC/KPRC Houston) ...Was that direction written on his forehead, or on his arm?
