Invisible Man

Some Ohio State University students in a somewhat run-down off-campus house occasionally found their cupboards and even their microwaves open for no apparent reason, and they joked that the house was haunted. Then the students discovered “weird noises like dings and alarms” emanating from the space behind a door in the basement. The door was locked. Maintenance workers broke it down and revealed, as the campus newspaper put it, “a bedroom complete with framed photographs and textbooks.” “Jeremy,” apparently also an OSU student, had been living there. He was evicted, and the house’s legal residents are considering suing the leasing company. Jeremy “was a really nice guy,” said one of them, “but it potentially could have been extremely dangerous given that some random guy had a key to our house.” (AC/USA Today) ...When they lease the room to a random guy, you may wish you had Jeremy back.
