Just Wanted Some Attention

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police is unhappy with the public after finding out a man fired 17 rounds from a shotgun inside his in Whitecourt, Alta., apartment, yet no one called the police. Staff Sgt. Rodney Koscielny said witnesses told him that the shooter, who was “intoxicated and agitated,” spoke of going to war with officers. “At one point he strapped three guns to his body and was ready to go at it,” he said. “Believe it or not, a passerby walked by him and still didn’t call us.” Eventually, the man turned himself in out of frustration over police not responding to the gunshots, and officers found 3,000 rounds of ammo in his apartment. Cody Wayne Hunter-Hooper, 23, was charged with mischief and careless use of a firearm, and held for a mental evaluation. (JW/Canadian Press) ...Who needs a mental evaluation? Anyone who shoots holes in the walls during a Canadian winter has got to be nuts.
