Killer Idea

Annybelkis Terrero, 38, was in the process of becoming a confidential informant for the Boynton Beach, Fla., police when she allegedly told officers she had a plan for her husband’s death. The officers told her they could help her out and later on, when an undercover officer met Terrero, she allegedly offered him $30,000 out of her husband’s life insurance to kill him and his friend William Straub, 57. Terrero was arrested on charges of solicitation of murder, and bribery. Police notified her husband of her arrest, but by the time he arrived the judge had ordered her to have no contact with either of the intended victims. Straub didn’t hear the reason for Terrero’s arrest until after she was denied bond. Straub came to her defense, explaining there’s another side to her: she’s a different person when drunk. “She would never do that,” Straub said. “It’s just she has a severe drug and alcohol problem. She is absolutely no harm to anybody else. When I heard it, I just laughed.” (MS/Palm Beach Post) ...Don’t worry: they’re only throwing the drunk side of her in jail.
