Let’s All Go Way Over the Top

A man in Woodstock, Ga., noticed a strange car parked on his street. To discourage people from parking on the public street, he posted two signs on the car: “Car Bomb” and “50-Foot Clearance I.E.D.” (“improvised explosive device”). The woman who owns the car parked it there because she got a flat tire. Before she could get back to change the tire, someone called police about the suspicious circumstances. Officers, unsure if there really was a bomb, cordoned off the area, and quickly traced the signs to Anthony Richard Couse III, 43, perhaps in part because he apparently posted photos of his handiwork on Facebook. Couse was charged with creating a false public alarm and making terroristic threats, and was jailed on $22,400 bond. (RC/Atlanta Journal-Constitution) ...If he’s so keen on posting signs, why didn’t he try “No Parking”?
