Lose, Lose, Loser

Henry Gribbohm, 30, saw a “Tubs of Fun” game at a carnival in Manchester, N.H. One of the prizes was a $300 Xbox Kinext video game console. Gribbohm says he spent $300 trying to win the game by tossing balls into a tub, but the balls kept popping out. So, he went home and got another $2,300 — his life savings, he says — and kept trying. After losing all his money, Gribbohm went back to complain. He was given $600 and a large stuffed banana. So, Gribbohm did the next logical thing: he called the cops. Manchester Police Lt. Maureen Tessier said the department is investigating to determine if there was any fraud, and Gribbohm is considering a lawsuit. “It was foolish for putting up my life savings,” Gribbohm admits. “For once in my life I happened to become that sucker.” (MS/WBZ Boston) ...No, he’s just the one born that particular minute.
