Lost Cause

While investigating a string of armed robberies in Marion County, Fla., police discovered a wallet belonging to Keith Howell, 22. Visiting the address on Howell’s driver’s license, investigators discovered a bag on the porch with a dark ski mask inside. Meanwhile, another officer pulled over Howell’s car for a burned out taillight. When the officer approached the car with three occupants, nobody was in the driver’s seat. Howell, who was driving, was now in the back seat, and told the officer he had moved because he had a suspended license — and had lost his wallet. Police searched the vehicle and found gloves, a black mask with holes cut out for eyes, a pellet gun, shoes matching those worn by the robber, and a small amount of marijuana. He was charged with robbery with a firearm, possession of marijuana, and driving with a suspended or revoked license. (MS/Ocala Star-Banner) ...And you thought having to cancel your credit cards was the worst part of losing your wallet.
