Love Out Loud

Police raided an apartment in Folkestone, Kent, England, and confiscated a man’s CDs and stereo. The raid was ordered after the unnamed man ignored a noise abatement order for keeping his neighbors awake blasting music throughout the night. He didn’t have too many CDs, said environmental health officer Liam Flannery, “so it was the same few songs, from gangsta rap to girly love songs like ‘I’m Every Woman’, over and over again.” Especially Whitney Houston’s 1992 cover of Chaka Kahn’s disco-era hit, “I’m Every Woman”. Flannery says if the man buys more CDs, they’ll be confiscated too. (MS/London Metro) ...Anything you want done, officer, I’ll do it naturally.
