McGriff’s Bite of Crime

Neighbors called police when they saw a woman climb into Serita Agnew’s house through a broken window. When police arrived, Sandra McGriff, 51, pastor of The Church of the Living God in Dallas, Texas, was allegedly loading $10,000 worth of stolen items into her car. “I’m a giver, not a taker,” McGriff told officers. “I’m not a burlgarer.” McGriff, who has a criminal history including prostitution and fraud, claims she was checking on the home, spotted two burglars, and climbed in the window after them. Homeowner Agnew doesn’t buy it, though. “I think she needs to find her way,” she said. (MS/KDFW Dallas) ...She found her way just fine — right into the house.
