Mommy Dearest

Lorenzo Mason, 21, robbed a business in Levenshulme, England, pointing a gun at a terrified bookmaker and forcing her to hand over 620 pounds (US$990). But before escaping he took off his mask and a security camera clearly captured his face. Police used that image in a public appeal to catch him. While making a routine call at Mason’s house, his mother blurted out, “I presume you’re here about what’s in the paper.” Four days later the mother managed to convince Mason to turn himself in to police. He pleaded guilty to the robbery and possession of an imitation firearm, and was sentenced to six years. (JW/Manchester Evening News) ...No charges for possession of an imitation brain?
