An analysis by USA Today finds that only five people are behind 25 percent of all money flowing into “Super PACs” working to influence this year’s U.S. presidential election. One of those five is Sheldon Adelson of Las Vegas, Nev., the CEO of Sands, which owns the world’s largest casinos. “I’m against very wealthy people attempting to or influencing elections,” Adelson said. “But as long as it’s doable, I’m going to do it.” (RC/USA Today) ...That gap is the difference between stated belief and practiced ethics.
