Alaska State Troopers were called to a residence in North Pole after the homeowners found someone had killed 26 of their 29 chickens during the night. “Then things got weird,” the report notes: the dead animals were laid out in a “lollipop” formation — a line of bodies with a “bulb” of animals at one end. Their torn-off heads were not found. How did three survive? “It’s kind of hard to say why anybody would do it in the first place, let alone why they’d stop,” said a perplexed trooper at the scene.
