Never Give Up

Clinton Edwards, 27, and his girlfriend allegedly broke into the barn and garage owned by Walter Parks. When Parks’ dog alerted him, Parks went out and confronted Edwards. Parks told investigators that Edwards drew a small revolver and the two men fought. Parks grabbed the gun and pointed it at Edwards, who then charged Parks, so Parks shot and missed. Edwards charged again, and Parks shot him in the shoulder. Edwards charged a third time, and Parks shot him in the thigh. Edwards finally fled with his girlfriend, and later allegedly broke into another home several miles away. He was finally apprehended and told the arresting officers about his gunshot wounds. He has been charged with burglary, criminal trespass, theft, receiving stolen property, and possession of a small amount of marijuana. (MS/Indiana Gazette) ...He’s either got incredible stamina or incredible stupidity — and I’m voting for the latter.
