Newlywed Game

According to Burlington Township, Pa., Detective Wayne Comegno, Van Pressley, 48, and his wife had ongoing problems in their year-long marriage. According to Comegno, Pressley’s wife was driving with her family and a friend when Pressley spotted her and started yelling. “He continues to follow her and tries to have the vehicles collide. Then, she drives directly to the police station and into the parking lot.” Pressley followed her in — and was arrested. At his court appearance, he explained his actions. “I’m a newlywed, and I just got married,” Pressley said. “I seen her with someone else when I come home ... that’s it.” After setting bail, the judge told Pressley he is barred from contact with his wife and warned, “Do not violate the restraining order. It will cause your immediate arrest.” (MS/Burlington County Times) ...That’s more like it.
