Not Exactly Hit and Run

“Tractor Willi” is well known in Dusseldorf, Germany. The 85-year-old man, whose last name wasn’t given, drives a farm tractor around town. But after colliding with a streetcar, Willi cursed out the driver and then took off, leading police on a 10-minute chase — at 6 kph (3.6 mph). He was fined 300 euros (US$390) for leaving the scene of the accident. (RC/Spiegel) ...I won’t say it was a slow chase, but the lead officer was able to stop for coffee half-way through.
