Officer Friendly

A state judge in Iowa has ruled that a police officer from Ft. Madison is entitled to unemployment benefits, even though he was fired for alleged misconduct. Patrol Officer William Bowker wasn’t fired after other officers took photos of him sleeping on duty (twice), drank alcohol while on duty, refused to attend training classes, or used police computers to manage his football and baseball fantasy league teams. But he was fired after having an affair with a reserve officer at the department — who happens to have been the chief’s wife. (RC/Des Moines Register) ...It takes a lot of guts to cuckold a guy who carries a gun.
