Oh, the Humanity

The Wild Animal Orphanage in San Antonio, Texas, had to file for bankruptcy. “This is a heartbreaking situation particularly for this large group of primates who would otherwise likely be euthanized without our humane intervention,” said Adam Roberts, executive vice president of Born Free USA. Because of the emergency, a bankruptcy judge approved the transfer of 112 monkeys and a baboon from the orphanage to Born Free, which Roberts said is “one of the largest single rescues we know of.” (RC/MSNBC) ...Meanwhile, you can’t get a mortgage modification.
