Panic First, Ask Questions Later

Officials at Timbercrest Elementary School in Deltona, Fla., were shocked at contraband they found on a student: a $1 million bill. Administrators said the currency “looked very real” and they were “concerned” over it being in a child’s possession. They called in sheriff’s deputies to investigate. The U.S. government has never issued a $1 million bill. “It’s got all kinds of words written on the back,” said a parent, who noted the “bill” was handed out to kids at a nearby monster truck rally. “It’s not even close to being real. Whoever [confused it with real currency] did not take a good look at what they had in their hand.” (RC/Central Florida News13) ...Or maybe they couldn’t read.
