Party Animal

Owen Dallas Gerun, 30, and a buddy were at a “party” with two women at a townhouse in Edmonton, Alta., Canada. Gerun apparently had too much to drink and passed out, and while he was unconscious the two women applied makeup to his face. The next morning as he was leaving, Gerun realized he had lipstick on and got “extremely angry,” according to Crown prosecutor Laura Marr. He smashed out two windows, Marr says, and then reached in one and hosed down the kitchen with bear spray. The women hid in a closet and called 911, and the fire department was brought in to air the place out. Responding police officers found Gerun at a nearby convenience store; they were pretty sure they had the right guy — Gerun was still wearing the makeup, and “smelled like bear spray.” Gerun pleaded guilty to mischief causing damage, possession of a weapon dangerous to the public peace, and uttering death threats to the police officers, and was sentenced to eight months in jail. (RC/QMI) ...More than enough time to learn how to be more subtle with makeup.
