Sex the Wrong Way II

A patrolling policeman in Salem, Mass., noticed a man out walking at 3:00 a.m. carrying an empty bag. An hour later, he saw him again, but this time the bag was full. Suspicious, since there were no stores open at that hour, the officer stopped Michael Conway, 34, to investigate. Conway explained that the bag was full of his ex-wife’s sex toys. The officer didn’t believe that, and looked inside. He found a wallet, a checkbook, a GPS navigator, CDs, a camera, a full jewelry box, and other items taken from several nearby cars, whose windows were smashed. Conway was booked for burglary. His lawyer Joyce Motta told a judge Conway “was just walking down the street” and was stopped by police “for no reason.” Conway interrupted her, asking the judge to send him to drug rehab, rather than jail, explaining, “I’ve got a screaming drug habit.” (RC/Salem News) ...And a dumb lawyer.
