Shoot!

Eight to 10 friends were hanging out in Honea Path, S.C., at 2:30 a.m., Don McCown said, when they came up with an unusual recreational activity: someone would wear a bulletproof vest, and someone else would shoot him. Blake Wardell, 25, got the vest, McCown said; Taylor Ann Kelly, 18, told authorities she got the gun. If you haven’t guessed what happened next, I’ll tell you McCown is the deputy county coroner. The bullet went through the edge of the vest, above the Kevlar, and into Wardell’s heart, McCown said. Authorities say Kelly is not the shooter, but rather a liar who tried to take the blame for Timothy Fisher, 25, because he was already a felon; her charge was changed to accessory to a felony after the fact. Fisher has been charged with involuntary manslaughter. (AC/WHNS Greenville, WYFF Greenville, Chicago Tribune) ...Because “consensual obliviocide” isn’t a legally recognized cause of death.
