Shopping List

The staff of a drugstore in Gainesville, Fla., probably watched the customer fairly closely when he came in — it was 3:30 a.m. And they say they saw that he picked up two bottles of massage oil, two pairs of headphones, a box of condoms, a flashlight, and 10 cans of energy drinks — and walked out without paying for them. Police got to Joel Luis Valles, 28, before he even got to his car, and what he had in his car may explain his purchases: a woman was passed out on the front seat. He was charged with theft and, later, with smuggling cocaine into the jail. (RC/Gainesville Sun) ...Which is nothing compared to what he might have been charged with at sunup.
