Someone Didn’t Follow Procedure So Well
A teller at a Wells Fargo bank in Antioch, Calif., had to get her manager to help with a customer’s note — the handwriting was so poor she couldn’t read it herself. The gentleman lacked the patience to wait for the clerk and manager to discuss the situation; he left, apparently before the bank employees figured it was a robbery note. When they did figure that out, they summoned the police. Later, responding to a call about an unwanted guest at a nearby shopping mall, police arrested a man fitting the robber’s description.
