Something’s Missing

Frank Laviguer’s alleged month-long spree of bank robberies came to an abrupt end as he was making his getaway from the Wells Fargo Bank in Portland, Ore. His undoing: he came out of the bank to discover he had left the keys to his getaway car behind. Laviguer, 57, ran off on foot, and police chased him into a nearby office building, where they found him hiding behind a drinking fountain. There was no shootout before the arrest: Laviguer’s gun was fake. He was charged for the robbery, along with five others in Washington and Oregon. (MS/Portland Oregonian) ...Would it be overdoing it to hope that his jailer forgets his keys, too?
