Sorry, Wrong Car

A man called police at 11:15 p.m. to report his car was stolen, but really he just needed to wait a few minutes. Melissa Urban, 43, of Framingham, Mass., “stated it was a mistake, that she took the wrong car,” said police spokesman Lt. Ron Brandolini. “She said she wanted to steal her boyfriend’s car.” When police pulled her over, Urban readily admitted to taking the car, but said she was on the way back to return it after she realized her mistake. She pleaded not guilty to larceny of a vehicle and was released without bail.
